Richard Lawson Vanity Fair Acasa, My Home is an essential document of a nation ever in flux, and of what individual lives are disrupted and cast aside in the churn of progress. Dec 3, 2021 Full Review Andrew Pulver Guardian Ciorniciuc and his co-writer Lina Vdovîi, in allowing events to unfold slowly in front of the camera, have created a beautifully measured portrait of an amazingly resonant topic. Rated: 4/5 Jun 22, 2021 Full Review Selome Hailu Austin Chronicle Rică, like Acasă, My Home itself, meditates on how we define a life worth choosing. Rated: 4/5 Jan 22, 2021 Full Review Mark R. andy h It's a delicate journey, but a worthy one for those liking to explore family life around the world. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Cliché about the Romani family. Same thing that the Romanian directors have been rehashing for almost a decade now. It's quite arguably the same type of content that shocked all of Europe over 5 years ago in UK TV show "the Romanians are coming" with the camera turned on another side of the Romanian society.
