Especially since our son's are landsmen 😊 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/16/24 Full Review Nancy It was not bad but not good, acting ok, but low on plot, this could have been a lot more of a movie Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/14/24 Full Review Carl B Too many inaccuracies. Katie Rife RogerEbert.com The script is so declarative and predictable that it suggests that the writers felt their audience must be stupid. Rated: 1/4 Mar 9, 2024 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety The next time you hear someone complain that they sure don’t make them like they used to, point them in the direction of “Accidental Texan." Mar 8, 2024 Full Review Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle There’s an earnestness about Accidental Texan that can only warm your heart. Every moment is predictable, but in Bristol’s capable hands that becomes a strength. Rated: 3/5 Mar 7, 2024 Full Review Sarah Little Screen Rant The comedy-drama Accidental Texan intends to pull viewers in with an unlikely friendship and heartwarming story, but the film mostly feels forced. Rated: 2/5 Apr 3, 2024 Full Review Mark Jackson Epoch Times As I started watching the film, I agreed with the critics. By the end, I agreed with the audience. Here’s the best way to watch this film—in three installments. Rated: 3/5 Mar 19, 2024 Full Review Steven Prokopy Third Coast Review I’m always excited to see THC in anything these days, and he does his best to keep Accidental Texan grounded, but there are too many elements working against him to make the film worth recommending.
