Audience Member Ringo Lam delivers a solid aces go places through a combination of efficient comedy scenes and impressive stunts. Baldy & King Kong head to New Zealand to track down a gang who's kidnapped Baldy's wife in exchange for a prism that can give a person superhuman strength. Incredible stunts, cool fights and great comedy make this such a wonderful movie to watch. The action packed opening sequence gives you a taste of what's to come. The pacing is fast and it moves from one set piece to the next. The main villain is a pisstake of the one in Raiders Of The Lost Ark - in his black trenchcoat and hat. The director is Ringo Lam, who is one of the main directors of Hong Kong new wave as well as Tsui Hark. Direction of action sequences is tense, and gags are great in this one. The couple of Karl Maka and Sylvia Chang is great as usual, and this time, Sally Yeh shows real good combination with Samuel Hui.
