LM Meg C Luv it! I admire all the actors' courage to get up there and create, and of course all the other staff members and Directors, especially our Canadian movies 🎥 they've come a long way and it's great to see. Thank you for giving us entertainment XXXOOO Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Audience Member Rotten story line that only tells the viewer that racism still exists and regardless of the person of color doing nothing wrong but everything right, they will never succeed. Only good this about this movie was the acting from some of the cast. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Across The Line was an interesting film that I just finished watching on Netflix. When you watch a film you look at the plot, the leads, and co-stars of a film, and I felt that all three of those areas came through in this film. I decided to watch this film because Sarah Jeffery (I'm a big fan of the CW network show Charmed), but I ended up liking the film for much other reasons than just her. This was a solid film on race relations and should be checked out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Alright I am now 18 years old and this is my very first movie review. I created an account just for this. This move straight up sucked. Zero character development. Little to no plot line and the conflict doesn't even get resolved. Stupid flick Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this would be about high school hockey, but it's just teenage drama and racial tension told in a pedestrian and shallow way. The characters have promise but the writing is immature and the plot is subordinary which is unfortunate because the actors are all solid. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/02/19 Full Review Audience Member X's strong visual storytelling skills carry the film home, and herald a promising big-screen career. Rated: 3/4 Apr 15, 2016 Full Review Barry Hertz Globe and Mail X's strong visual storytelling skills carry the film home, and herald a promising big-screen career. Rated: 3/4 Apr 8, 2016 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews All the drama focuses on the racism in the community. Rated: C+ May 3, 2018 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Hockey star deals with racism; lots of cursing, bullying. Rated: 3/5 Aug 1, 2017 Full Review Norman Wilner NOW Toronto Race showed us Stephan James could be a movie star. Across The Line mints him as an actor. Rated: 4/5 Apr 13, 2016 Full Review Chris Knight National Post Across the Line not only showcases some fine black actors, it delves into a topic that Hollywood is continuing to struggle with. It's a pity we struggle with these same issues in Canada, but also a point of pride that this film was made here. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 8, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews
