Audience Member Alizeh and Ayan are two very different souls one knows heartbreak while the other has yet to explore that route they meet one night at a party; both of them have significant others but are okay with just having a bit of fun with one another Alizeh opens his talent to dancing and singing but after he breaks up with his cheating girlfriend she teaches him to buck up and not let it derail his entire life they then get the idea to go to Paris and live the Bollywood life she's often dreamed about then it gets really dicey when Alizeh runs into her DJ ex-boyfriend, so what does it mean now for Ayan? then another love interest enters the picture, Saba played by Aishwarya Rai who writes poetry and who knows, maybe she might be the potential love he's been looking for lust kills friendships, love is passion, friendship is peace, do people just leave when relationships die?, is love weakness or is it the other way around?, passion isn’t familiarity, people say follow your heart not your mind but if you’re heartbroken what then, some of us don’t want to be needed just to be desired, love is like cancer; it comes without warning then it dissipates I like how these two leads don't immediately fall in love and they start out as genuine friends first, very rarely do movies do that now and for a very familiar subject that's refreshing to have there was actually 1 dance sequence in a nightclub at the beginning I thought was catchy too the film itself really blurs the line between strict friendships and actual love The middle act does get better when Saba comes in giving Ayan a proper outlet to express his sorrows with her poetic writings in his music And the last act really takes a huge turn ....caught me off guard I gotta say Maybe in a way most of us are like Ayan and Alizeh trying to fool ourselves into how we want to feel no matter where two people are in the world they can always find a middle ground when it comes to love and friendship this Bollywood picture was sweet, funny, sad, but also soft and the final end song was a nice cap on top of it all Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/15/23 Full Review ASHIK M Its a great movie. With great emotions🤍 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Disgusting love triangle film! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member It is kind of different from the usual bollywood masala, but quite a bit of it is does not go with any sense. A woman who does not have any feelings for you but want to use you for her wants and needs and this guy is headover heals in love with her. I mean.. There has to be some semblance sense somewhere.. Songs are soulful and melodious and definitely will be stuck in one's mind for quite a long time.. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Love is more than you know! I was saddened to see all the negative publicity this movie garnered prior to its release but all that's done and dusted now and the world gets to see another Karan Johar love story. From the outset, I had huge expectations from this movie and I am glad, the movie did not disappoint me. First, the STARS of the movie have done an amazing job portraying their characters. Aishwarya is stunning, Ranbir is outstanding and Anushka is terrific. Second, the story line is different and powerful. The message that Love is not just about being in a physical relationship has been delivered in a meaningful way. Third, the music exceeds expectations from a Karan Johar movie (Channa Mereya touched my soul). Fourth, the movie is lively, real, colorful (perfect release for Diwali) and very well directed. This is my favorite Karan johar movie till date. I hardy write reviews but after seeing what some of the users have posted so far, I felt obliged to share my views. Go watch it guys and happy diwali to you all! Cheers!
