Audience Member A thoughtfully-written piece on the value of human life and the universality of human frailty. The film is largely by the numbers in terms of its dramatic presentation, but the writing is just so good, so sharp, that the lack of narrative originality doesn't really matter. The film also shows a largely admirable restraint in detailing Mengele's crimes, telling enough to communicate the horror, but leaving enough in mystery to hold the atmosphere. Well done film.
