The film was great I love movies about crime and someone having to step-up for his/her family. I actually had watched this movie before the class started which made it even better that I was able to speak with the director and ask questions.

I thought that the movie had a great focus and headline, but I wouldn't say it lived up to how good it could have potentially been. However, it puts family as the forefront issue by highlighting that parental figures will do anything for their family even if it means breaking the law and hurting other people's lives. So the question is: Did the character portraying Bill do the right thing by committing crimes since it was for his family, or is he a villain who is destroying other people's lives?

I think After The Fall had a great storyline and the film production was creative, but the end of the film felt unfulfilled. I felt as if Ben got off with a slap on the wrist. I think the story could've been furthered at the end. The foreshadowing and the symbolism within the film was creative.
