The New Mexico bleakness plays well into the bleakness faced by Bentley's characters, a dad who has lost his job and is struggling to support his family. See more 01/24/2021 After the fall has an intriguing story I thought this movie would’ve been something like falling down a cinematic classic. But it’s not. The performances are pretty bland for the most part in the movie just doesn’t have enough excitement. The robberies are pretty bland and do not generate any excitement. It’s funny how it takes Police forever to ID this guy yet he does robberies in some places without a mask on. The cinematography was decent and the ending left of you guessing but the overall movie could’ve been better. See more 09/05/2016 ***Spoilers Ahead.Most definitely*** After reading the movie description I had high hopes for After The Fall.I was hoping for a Falling Down type of movie or something like that.I even wanted to at least like the movie but I didn't like it at all.It started out interesting enough but after 10-15 minutes it became almost..... boring.I don't know why I didn't turn it off & watch something else.I think I was thinking maybe it would get better or I just wanted to see how it would all end.Some of the stuff Bill Scanlon did was so stupid I couldn't figure out if he was trying to get caught or he was just a complete nutjob.1 thing I do know, he was a lucky guy.He becomes friends with a detective who use to know Scanlon's father while he was on the force.The detective figures out Scanlon is the robber but instead of busting him, he lets Scanlon know they're after him.When Scanlon decides to turn himself in, the detective tells him not to See more Read all reviews
