sarah a A great film depicting great courage against tremendous odds. I felt like I was on the journey with them, starving, thirsty and weak. I also enjoyed that sharks featured in this too! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A thoroughly enjoyable survival tale based on a true story, will give you a new appreciation for sun cream Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Against the sun se une a el estilo de Biopics sin interes que pierde fuerza a lo largo de su historia, el primer tramo del film es impecable da muchas expectativas de los que sera una gran historia, pero su segundo acto y su final destruyen las expectativas de esta cinta que se va a lo basico. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review derek e Excellent movie! For WWII history fans, this is a must see. Against The Sun gives you an inside look at what it could take to survive in a raft out in the middle of the ocean for an extended period of time. In this case, for 34 days they were stuck in a raft after crashing their plane in the ocean. Very well acted and the pace keeps you intrigued through the entire story. Very well done! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Serge L Real story made to film, realistically. Very good reenactment with excellent effects, make-up, and decent acting. We can feel the time passing. But they had it easy, with a dingy that floated and two episodes of rain and fishes to eat. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/17/17 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times All three actors turn in solid, committed performances despite physically limiting surroundings, even as you're left with the inescapable feeling that this raft has sailed. Jan 23, 2015 Full Review Sheila O'Malley RogerEbert.com Director Brian Falk, who co-wrote the script with Mark David Keegan, worked well with cinematographer Petr Cikhart to keep the story visually interesting, despite the limitations placed on the tale by the monotonous setting. Rated: 3/4 Jan 23, 2015 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times A groaningly tedious survival story that will at least leave you with a renewed commitment to wearing sunscreen. Jan 22, 2015 Full Review Reagan Gavin Rasquinha The Times of India The three actors deliver solid performances while getting completely under the sun-blistered skin of the downed pilots' characters. Definitely an inspirational tale. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 9, 2017 Full Review Paul Chambers Movie Chambers Made on a fraction of the budget, "Against the Sun" works more effectively than Angelina Jolie's "Unbroken." Rated: B May 22, 2015 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Eventually all the movie has is the talent and chemistry of the three actors; fortunately, that's enough to keep it afloat.
