College kids Betty (Dorothy Wilson) and Michael (Richard Cromwell) are in love. One night, after they resolve a jealousy-fueled fight, they decide to get engaged. Michael is tempted to quit college in order to earn a steady living, but it's a different temptation that proves to be too strong for him, as he falls into the arms of Dora (Arline Judge), a younger girl. After catching Dora with Michael, the girl's strict father tries to force them to marry, threatening Michael's bond with Betty.
