Audience Member Two things really impressed me while watching this Canadian( ?)TV }"real-life" drama...First how talented an actor Christopher Plummer is and secondly how sinister our American CIA was in 1964, for all intents and purposes , trying to smear a Canadian Ambassador to the USSR as a communist agent... It really leaned heavily towards forcing Canada into undertaking a criminal charge against said Ambassador..(A miscarriage of justice if there ever was one)..Looks like US Mccarthyism was still going strong in the middle 1960s... I'm sure they haven't changed from the way they are portrayed, despite the fact there are probably many good-hearted idealistic CIA operatives. Kevin Shipp is just one such a good guy; it's the evil at the top that needs to be scrubbed from the planet's surface. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
