Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express It is unclear where Agent Vinod is coming from. You can see the Bond-Bourne-Ludlum influences, but not the unfettered play of Sriram Raghavan's wit and intelligence. May 12, 2015 Full Review Anupama Chopra Hindustan Times When I walk into a film called Agent Vinod, what I want, more than anything else, is an adrenalin rush... The plot plods along, especially in the first half. Rated: 2.5/5 May 12, 2015 Full Review Namrata Joshi Outlook There is an incredible urge to run a fine comb through Agent Vinod, to straighten the several strands, trajectories, characters, locations that end up as one big clutter in the mind's eye. Rated: 2/4 May 12, 2015 Full Review Rohan Naahar The Indian Express Daftly plotted, featuring a garbage Pritam soundtrack, and tonally all over the place, Agent Vinod is a particularly terrible relic of an odd couple of years for the Hindi film industry in which several critical darling filmmakers tried scaling up. Jun 24, 2022 Full Review J Hurtado ScreenAnarchy Lacks the knockout blow that would have made it a real killer. Nov 6, 2017 Full Review Sudhish Kamath The Hindu While the basics make sure that Agent Vinod is way better than run-of-the-mill Bollywood, our standards for Sriram Raghavan are sky high. Audience Member Sporadically entertaining, but ultimately convoluted and exhausting. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review sanal r Seriously this movie could have been something, if these people were invested more in making a Bollywood movie rather than a cheap James Bond film this movie would have done wonders. Technically brilliant and a convincing performance by Saif but flawed by a wannabe script and bad editing Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A spy-thriller, which oozes style, substance and loads of entertainment. The only problem here is incomplete characterization and a lengthy plan/show. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I m so dissapointed and wished Saif Ali would stay on characters he can play. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member An Indian James Bond. Slick photography. But too long. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a very tight script, but a genuine spy movie made-in-Bollywood. I wouldn't expect more. Very fine editing, cinematography, background score and on-screen presentation. Akshay Kumar would have suited better for the role, but Saif Ali Khan didn't disappoint me. Sriram Raghavan impressed me for the third time in his third movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
