Vladan Petkovic Cineuropa Stoya turns out to be a talented actress, creating a character that convincingly covers the spectrum between android and human. Sep 16, 2020 Full Review CJ Sheu Critics at Large It's a sign of the dialectical power of ... Stoya's acting that the only time [her] character loses its beautifully fragmented coherence is ... in the final shot. Jun 30, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Bruce O This movie does not deliver. The possibilities were phenomenal! If you want to watch artistic sequences, you will enjoy it. If you're interested in plot or dialog, do not watch it! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/20/23 Full Review David W A space pilot develops romantic feelings for an AI robot. Things go about as well as you would expect. This film has excellent cinematography and gratuitous nudity from Stoya, the actress playing Nimani, if you're into that. Unfortunately for me, I was not into that and so I found it to be visually interesting but ultimately lacking in character development. I knew no more about the main character and the end of the film than I did at its beginning. Still, a compelling backstory to the overall plot and good cinematography are enough for me to watch this again if there were no better options to choose from. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie gets far too much hate and for the wrong reasons. The story is compelling and very confronting. The nudity is not always necessary but considering the fact that she is an android means it DOES make sense. Have you ever seen Mangas "Ghost in the Shell?". The message I can't reveal without being a huge spoiler but after reading some of the reviews I think it's safe to say a lot of people miss the hidden messages in this film. The acting is spot on, and Stoyas performance was awesome, she did not disappoint in the slightest. My only wish for this film... a better set, the spaceship is awfully dull in its interior and the LED's were giving me a headache. If you can't handle nudity, this film is really not for you, but the message is very real, and if you can handle it, this film is a must-watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review aaron g An indie sci-fi from another country about a lone wolf single person space mission who has a multi-purpose android as a companion. Not likable as an android, not likable as a "freed" robot, this movie seems tedious and boring. In the end, the fact that he makes a sacrifice for her and she shows some chance of emotion, doesn't make me feel the journey was worth it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A well done softcore sci-fi porn. The actress is complete naked 70% of the time. Whole plot is to go to outerspace with expensive spaceship to have sex with a beautiful robot with pink small tits and eventually fall in love with each other. THAT IS THE WHOLE PLOT. Why is the rating so high? Must be tons of creeps being professional critics. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I have to say acting in this "movie" is really...ridiculous. A porn star? An improbable captain with no background whatsoever and a moronic face? If it was me and my cousin Geremia it would have been looking much more professional. So basically they fuck for the whole movie, and he plays with remote control. That is it. Well done. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
