Michael W This fifth Air Bud movie was alright. Katija Pevec, Tyler Boissonnault, Cynthia Stevenson, Edie McClurg, Robert Tinkler, C. Ernst Harth, and the rest of the cast did a decent job in this movie. The story of the movie was a little entertaining and humorous. It pretty much the same as the previous movies. If you haven't seen this movie yet, don't waste your time. It's not worth it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/08/23 Full Review Audience Member my first son was born the day this movie came out and I was overjoyed, there have been some medical complications with him but I know he will make it though. i cant wait to show him these movies! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review andy h It's more of a nostalgia trip than anything, but it's still in the top rankings of the franchise. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not really terrible but it's still bad. Is somewhat heartwarming and poignant, the volleyball sequences are cute and I think the parrot could be an ensemble darkhorse. Though that won't stop me from realizing these are the same movies that think that having the dog play a different sport is what accounts for the movie being different from each other. The little kid is innocent but still mildly annoying, the villains are cartoons (what else?) and is fairly predictable. Will Buddy win the game? Will the all-grown-up sister of Josh from the first three movies get to make enough money to see her best friend, who's moved, again? Buy our DVD to find out even though, being a Disney movie, you probably know the answers already. Air Bud Spikes Back is not as bad as the last two movies but I'm glad the movies ended after this. And no, the ones about his children don't count.
