Artist Oliver Black (Xander Berkeley) wakes to discover his wife Evelyn (Sarah Clarke) has died in their bed overnight. Brimming with magical realism, we enter a world in which the misconceptions of our belief in a solid reality are revealed. Space and time bend in a way to challenge the audience with what is real, what is illusion, and what is beyond.... This peaceful and hypnotic quiet is interrupted by the outside world and the threat of everyday, common reality, thanks to Oliver's art dealer (Mink Stole).

Alexandra Heller-Nicholas AWFJ.org Through light, sound, color and shadow, Alchemy of the Spirit somehow activates our other senses – smell, touch, taste – to make this a wholly immersive experience. It’s a story that we feel, and with subject matter as weighty as this, it’s a perfect fit. Jun 30, 2022 Full Review Alejandro Turdó Hoy Sale Cine Leaving all surreal and supernatural elements aside, Alchemy Of The Spirit is a story about turning art into a healing process. A story about saying goodbye, making amends, getting inner peace and finding the strength necessary to move on. Rated: 8/10 Jan 31, 2023 Full Review Tony Asankomah GhMovieFreak A thought-provoking film. Challenging not just for the makers but for the audience to also digest and interpret. It is artsy and explores the subject of death and life after death in a way that makes you question what is real and what isn't.  Rated: 6/10 Jan 31, 2023 Full Review Federico Furzan Movie-Blogger.com There’s nothing traditional about Alchemy of the Spirit. From Xander Berkeley’s beautiful performance to the magical realism that floods every frame and the script itself. It’s an atypical depiction of grief. But it doesn’t mean it isn’t understandable Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 27, 2023 Full Review Joel Fisher Battle Royale With Cheese However, at barely an hour and a half, it seems that the criticisms of style over substance to pad out a half-realized story may be more accurate. Jan 27, 2023 Full Review Sabina Dana Plasse Film Threat Alchemy of the Spirit is beautifully presented even though it appears as if there’s little happening. The color, light, and lack of detail are multiple layers of thought-provoking cinema. Rated: 9/10 Jul 18, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Marc L The Maestro and his love carry a surreal representation of overwhelming love's finite existence or maybe its infinite possibilities. Experiencing Xander Berkeley meld his exceptional physical artistic talents with his acting skills, adds dimensions to a story only he and his wife Sarah could deliver. Thoroughly engaging, emotionally challenging and beautiful executed, the journey they take us on is love story for all time.
