Dwight Brown National Newspaper Publishers Association Hopeless romantics will have a big, fat good time. Oct 2, 2017 Full Review Paul Byrnes Sydney Morning Herald Alex and Eve is at times broad and a touch gauche but it has the spark of real life, and a sense that it could not have come from anywhere else. It's also really funny. Aous S In the last scene, Eve tells Alex that he needs to work on his arabic. However, she needs to work on her arabic. The way he said "Ana bahebek" was much better than she said it , and the very few words she said alike. I'm not sure why they didn't have an Australian arabic actress for the role. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member felt like a made for (SBS) tv, cross-cultural romcom; which is not all a bad thing if one simply wants to chill & be grateful that no matter how pressurizing cultural family issues may seem, not many of us have to deal with two very different ones.
