Catherine Bray Guardian It’s a frequent complaint that a film is boring because nothing happens, but here is an example where the problem is things are just constantly happening, creating a kind of antics-fatigue. Rated: 2/5 Apr 1, 2025 Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media This family film has good vibes and likeable characters, even if the comic timing isn't always perfect. Apr 2, 2025 Full Review John Serba Decider Your mileage may vary on this Road Trip. Some of you will find it just fine, but considering the overabundance of smarter, funnier options for family viewing in the streaming landscape, I gotta say SKIP IT. Mar 31, 2025 Full Review Casey Chong Casey's Movie Mania Saved by a fun, charming cast. Rated: 3/5 Mar 31, 2025 Full Review Manuel São Bento FandomWire For those who appreciate the original movie and don’t mind embarking on a similar journey but with a more Latino-Hispanic flavor, the recommendation is simple: buckle up and enjoy the ride. Rated: B- Mar 29, 2025 Full Review Lupe Rodriguez Haas CineMovie.tv The movie is a delightful family comedy. Thom Nemer's portrayal of Alexander is particularly endearing, capturing the character's innocent nervousness and paranoia about his perceived bad luck. Rated: B Mar 28, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I’m not an huge fan of these movies, but this one was better than the predecessor. This had a great cast with a better story and more comedy. Overall a decent movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review Audience Member A pleasant film that lives up to expectations. It won't revolutionize the screen, but it will provide a pleasant family moment where laughter is guaranteed, along with excitement and that flavor of Mexican and, at times, Latin culture, which is always a pleasant moment to watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/25 Full Review Cameron H A sequel to the 2014 film “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” the story follows a Mexican-American family who goes on a roadtrip to Mexico to reconnect with their family roots, but things go horribly wrong after they discover a cursed idol. In general, this was a good family friendly comedy movie despite having a similar premise to other films like RV or the National Lampoon Vacation films. There’s a good message about the importance of family and heritage, but for me a lot of the comedy fell flat. The cast was fine but I don’t think they were the most experienced with comedic timing. Most of the humor felt forced and unauthentic. I personally think the 2014 film with Steve Carell was a much better and funnier movie, but this one was still enjoyable. I liked the cursed idol plot device. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/25 Full Review William W This movie is quite fun and entertaining, but the film's dialogue and acting didn't have a lot of quality. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/25 Full Review SkyRo P “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip” is a comedy film released by Disney in 2025, available for streaming on Disney+. Initially, it seemed poised to be a sequel to the original movie of the same name, which featured a "very bad day" theme. However, upon starting the film, viewers quickly notice a complete shift in the cast, which was unexpected. While I have great respect for Eva Longoria as a talented and charming actress with a knack for comedy, she isn't the issue here. The real concern lies in the abrupt transition from the original stars, Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner, to a new Hispanic family centered around a character sharing the same name as the previous protagonist. This change created confusion, as I was anticipating a continuation of the original story rather than a reimagining featuring a Hispanic Alexander, especially when the original character was portrayed by a white actor. Despite this change, the film lacked chemistry among the cast members, making it seem as though they were simply reciting their lines without any real connection or camaraderie. The young actor portraying Alexander also fell short; he didn’t seem fully engaged, which made his performance feel lacking and uncomfortable to watch. Overall, while I'm pleased that Disney+ is expanding its content, this film didn't resonate with me. It certainly adds variety to their offerings, but personally, it wasn't to my liking, and I found it quite unremarkable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/29/25 Full Review Alex N From start to finish, it was absolutely very funny and also heart-warming. It was really incredible, and I recommend everyone to subscribe to Disney+ to watch It. An 11-year-old boy Alexander, who has the curse that roaming across the road trip, from start to finish. And they taught a me a valuable life lesson the I need to take notes to share with you guys because that could happen. Are the next road trip? And It could be happen to me when I'm going to to Disneyland via road trip. Ask yourself if that's not a curse then what is it?The answer simple it's called life. Because it's always there inside one of you. no matter where you are anywhere around the world. And I hate to spend all The Times worrying myself that will let my family down. cause then I'm gonna miss out of all the good stuff. to me I'm so full of magic that lived inside me and so in all of us. the way I stand up for everyone. sometime bad luck can save my lifes. In conclusion, it was the pure comedy gold, filled with laughter and heartfelt message. The rest of the trip was mostly uneventful and Alexander has taught us something" If bad luck is all you look for you're definitely going to find it.But the best thing about family is,they help me and so are you see the good magic too.Because it's always there inside one of you. no matter where you are anywhere around the world. You just gotta keep an eye out for it. Totally amazing. I recommend everyone to watch It. 10 out of 10 subscribe to Disney+ now. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/28/25 Full Review Read all reviews
