The satire of it is quite funny, particularly the portrayal of ‘gang' culture being the cringeworthy caricature that Hollywood coming-of-age movies paint it to be, and the scene in which the deputy prime minister reads out the budget that Ali wrote. Some of the jokes are a bit childish and cringy though. Sasha Baron Cohen carries the film, without him I'd have given it probably 2 stars.
