This is little more than a long string of clips of such things as rotating radio telescopes, NASA control rooms, and animated news-story backgrounds, with some home-brew CGI and panned still photos of cheesy "alien" artwork. Droning over the whole patchwork mess is a narration of the hoary space-conspiracy theories that can be found on goofy amateur websites all over the Internet. The lack of production values and significant content is jaw-dropping. I'm baffled why anyone would have anything to do with promoting such a ludicrously cobbled-together "documentary". On the plus side, it's so awful, you may find it fascinating. I never imaginsed anything this bad could possibly be on Netflix; that alone had a kind of "deer in the headlights" effect on me. Unfortunately, an hour of my life is now gone forever. Had I considered that first, I probably would've opted for something more meaningful, like solitaire.

Has some decent examples that really make us question our beliefs; but they're mixed in among many other examples that just seem plain childish.

Tinfoil hats aside, Alien Contact: Outer Space is an entertaining watch.
