      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

All I Wish strands Sharon Stone in the midst of a subpar romantic comedy that will only leave most viewers wishing Hollywood would offer her a better starring vehicle.

BJ M Slow. I sat with my date predicting the next line. We were correct too often. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review Steve D The cast does its best with bad material. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/24 Full Review sonia m I have to say I've fallen in love with this movie, it's so sweet. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because I don't like Sharon's wig. Why did she have to wear a wig in the first place? Well, Senna (Sharon Stone) and Adam (Tony Goldwyn) make a very nice couple, great chemistry. Senna is funny, bright and insecure. She's my age so I could easily identify with her. I love Darla character too as true friends are hard to find. Well, It's always good to see Sharon Stone, a real movie star. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is an underated Jem! As a Big-fan of Rom Coms I was surpised I haden't heard about this or seen it when it came out 5 years ago. The female lead played by (Sharon Stone) Is an older women in her mid-forties instead of the useual twenty-somthing air-heads that you useually see in this grenre. Stone's character (Senna) is an aspiring fashion designer and a hot-mess who isn't even sure if she belives in marriage, when on her 46th birthday she meet's Adam, played by (Tony Goldwyn). A handsome yet uptight layer who has recently moved to California from Boston who dosn't belive in the idea of soulmates. The rest of the film shows how Senna and Adam grow and change over the years on each of senna's fallowing birthdays, with little confessional monologes by the charaters which are reminicent of the ones in Harry MetSally directed by Rob Reiner! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought the story was ok overall, but not great as it just didn't seem to flow well and was kind of clunky between scenes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Painful to watch. I can't even put it into words. Sharon should not have been casted as a woman in her 40's. I am normally not one to say something like that but it just made the whole movie unrealistic in my opinion. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times [Stone's] performance anchors the light-as-air "All I Wish." It's the perfect role for her to sink her teeth into, sexy and fun, but she brings a sense of real intelligence and soulfulness to the character. Mar 30, 2018 Full Review Adam Graham Detroit News Stone is bubbly and appealing in the role, but she's saddled with dialogue as clunky as a flat tire. Rated: C Mar 30, 2018 Full Review Guy Lodge Variety It's left to Stone to prop up the whole scented-tissue affair, and that she cheerfully does, with a calm, centered force of personality that lends credibility even to the most raggedly developed aspects of her character. Mar 30, 2018 Full Review Sarah Knight Adamson AWFJ.org Here's a portrait of both older women and men living life to the fullest, and not settling for second best just because society sets deadlines. It also gives hope to those who are divorced or widowed. Jan 13, 2020 Full Review David N. Butterworth La Movie Boeuf In Susan Walters' sudsy screenplay, Sharon Stone is subjected to stock romantic situations time and time again, dragged along by Walters' insipid and uninspired direction. Rated: 2/4 Nov 25, 2018 Full Review Tom Santilli AXS.com "All I Wish" is a dream role for Stone, if only the character was given a better movie to exist in.
