l g The movie is stressful. The main characters are fine with the usual Hallmark actors. It's fiction, but having recently gone thru a similar situation, the overall stress caused by the inacurate financial basis of the plot is exhausting. Most Hallmark movies are sort of realistic and fun. Their traditional movie recipe is 1) 5-7 min to intro characters, 2) 10 mins laying out the fun thing that will happen, 3) 30 mins of character and plot build, story time, 4) 15 mins slightly change course, something goes wrong, plot twist, then awkward drama for a couple minutes 5) 10-15 mins to fix drama and make it better, 6) 5 minutes, everyone makes up and lives happily ever after. This movie has all the traditional ingredients of the Hallmark recipe, buuuut, there's way too much of #4- the awkward drama part. There's so much going on that there's about 60 mins of awkward drama and things going wrong. Wish Hallmark had a better plot for something that was supposed to be happy.. like weddings should be.
