The production was executed excellently. Mia Love Disnard and Mikey Madison collaborated effectively to bring the mother-daughter relationship to life, making it entirely convincing and engaging for viewers. Go to Full Review

Exploring desperate circumstances on the socioeconomic margins through cliches and contrivances, this low-budget revenge thriller is a formulaic saga about cops, criminals, and irresponsible parents. Go to Full Review

DMC M Jul 21 Don't be sucked in by positive reviews, I think they were made by friends of the director - someone I have neve heard of. This is loaded with lots of bad acting & lots of dumb lines. After that it's predictable as all hell. Mickey was good in the movie she won the award for, I'm not sure why she took this one on it's just a waste of time IMO. See more Elusive 12/28/2023 Mikey did such a good job for what she was given, even though the dialogue was kinda corny I still loved it See more Luis T 12/19/2023 Emmanuelle Pickett's passion for the camera is present and strong in this tense and surprisingly human street thriller about a mother's love, A very personal theme soulfully expressed in her energy brought directing. Low budget independent films are very interesting in how they're able to pull off more in style with less through the right creative vision and energy, the case in point here with Pickett as a debut director. You have an incredible lead turn in former Ghostface Mikey Madison and an interesting antagonist in rapper G-Eazy. Pickett knows how to set the paranoid tone of a confined environment through certain sequences, and through the beautiful cinematography by Sean Bagley craft great framing inside edgy lighting. A very straightforward project fast paced worthy enough for a viewing. Pickett's talent shall put her on the radar with this one. See more JamesRamsel 12/15/2023 What a great directorial debut. This is a believable story about a mother's love for her daughter and what she's willing to go through to keep her. Little Mia is so cute and her facial expressions are perfect at all the right moments. You can sense she and Mikey have a real bond. It's worth a watch. See more jennaswife 12/10/2023 This movie is so cute and wholesome and action packed and Mikey Madison is so gorgeous and mommy she's my mommy and my wife and Jade is our daughter Mikey Madison can step on me and push me off a cliff and I'll still say thank you just give me one chance Mikey I'll cook and I'll clean please just marry me See more Read all reviews
