christopher c. m Trump's idea of when "America was great". Women just sat around for a man to admit feelings and anyone who was married and divorced people were demonized. This late 1940s rom-com might have inspired several sitcom tropes used decades later. Shirley Temple didn't do as many movies as teen and she always brings her A game even in less than worthy material. There are many annoying characters and the pacing is slow. The ending is okay, nothing to write home about. Overall, it's pretty good, not great. A must for any Shirley Temple completest. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Never saw this, i want to see it, but I don't know where. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member It's shirley temple's last film and a good one at that. It' in balck and white, but it still good. This last film also summs up what her roles were like after she was no longer a child actress. It's comical and fun to watch with that face of innocents that movies lost along time ago. Well inocents, but not inocent. There are things said in this movie that you may not think are bad, but they are if you Think like an adult. if you think like a kid, then you'll never catch why it's dirty.
