Brian T. Carney Washington Blade Almost Love is a thoroughly enjoyable movie. While writer/director Mike Doyle has some trouble with the script, he and a great cast deliver a fine rom-com that embraces diversity and sparkles with humor and warmth. Dec 6, 2022 Full Review Michael Cuby them. Almost Love is a charming rom-com that doubles as a love letter to the nonstop hustle and bustle of New York City. Sep 30, 2022 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix It has some moments that veer from bland to overly sappy, but this drama overall has realistic portrayals of an on-again/off-again romance. It's an emotionally poignant story about a young couple whose love affair is affected by outside influences. Sep 4, 2022 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru A warm, wise and tender love story. Tortoise I have no idea why the two main characters broke up at the end of the movie because there weren't any English subtitles for the characters' text messages.
