Kevin Carr Fat Guys at the Movies A fun little non-slasher slasher movie that works as a horror film. Rated: 3.5/4 Sep 25, 2021 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy This Alone in the Dark only looks like a godsend when placed alongside Uwe Boll's same-named turkey -- on its own terms, it's nothing special. Rated: 2/4 Sep 24, 2021 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a rather foolproof setup that's employed to predominantly (and distressingly) hit-and-miss effect... Rated: 2/4 Jan 9, 2021 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Everyone takes their roles seriously, and the combination of Palance, Landau, and Pleasence (this is a great opportunity to embrace their wild sides) imparts extra gravitas. Rated: 6/10 Aug 31, 2020 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Though the plot is hokey and its message is crazy, the maniacs- on -the -loose thriller is chilling. Rated: B Jan 11, 2017 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed A morbid and utterly mind bending little thriller... Jun 8, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Logan D A psychiatrist (Dwight Shultz) and his family are terrorized by escaped mental patients. A subpar effort from the 80s elevated by the presence of Shultz (original A-Team), Jack Palance, Donald Pleasance, and Martin Landau. Sad it has a twist you see coming a mile away. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Dan R It's a good movie and I watched it like 4 times. But they never caught the guy in the hockey mask. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/24 Full Review Thom G A good 80s slasher-like film Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review brad p Not nearly as good as its reputation suggests, Alone in the Dark is notable for having a stellar cast but there isn't much more beyond that. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A fun early slasher flick. The combination of a group of maniacs set loose on a town during a blackout and the riots and chaos that ensues make for a chilling recipe. It clumsily tries to be a commentary on rehabilitation, but kudos for even going there. Love seeing legends like Palance and Landau slumming it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/22 Full Review Audience Member Not to be confused with the 2005 film based on a video game. Instead this is a very suspenseful slasher. Plenty of gore as well. Another 1980's gem. Horror fans should seek this out if they haven't seen it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
