Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/11/23 Full Review steve d More competent but also duller. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review michael m Its a random Indy film, that has no relevance to Alone in the Dark, and they Slapped that name on it FOR SOME STUPID REASON. IM a longtime fan of the games and I must say I really wanted these two movies to be good and live up to the games. But I will sadly never get that because the writers and director seem like the never played any of the games to begin with. That aside, its a hard movie to watch, it hardly held my interest for very long, There is a plus, The scoring was decent and did give me a small sense of the creepy music the games gave you. Edward Carnby is back, but not Christian Slater or anyone who looks like him, instead we get Rake Yune hot off the set of the fast and the furious.....wtf? again makes no sense, miscasting there. who was this movie for??? if you dont please your core fans, who will you please? horror fans have nothing to see here either. Again I really really really wanted this movie to be good, Hell! I wanted the first one to be good! looks like I will have to make a Alone in the Dark film myself and that will be better than both! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Boring adaptation of a video game. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I fail to understand why or how Edward Carnby as a character is required in this film, as it felt that they could have had anyone and the result would have been the same. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member So not only did Edward Carnby grow four inches and CHANGE ETHNICITY while we weren't looking, apparently the human race also hasn't been wiped from existence any more, so that's nice. No seriously though, what the Hell? And why would anyone touch this franchise after Uwe Boll got his mitts on it? I can only assume there was a rights-expiry factor here. That's literally the only possible explanation... Even then... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sebastian Zavala Kahn Más Gamers Tedious and unambitious, but at least better than the previous one. It doesn't even have the epic train wreck quality of Boll's original. It's just a plain ol' bad movie. Rated: 1.5/5 Oct 21, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews
