VALENTINA P @RT45909350 5d Love Hurts (Amarte Duele) by Fernando Sariñana is a Mexican romance drama from 2002, that follows Ulises and Renata, two high-school students from opposite economic backgrounds. As the story progresses the melodramatic story between Ulises and Renata deepens with realistic and intense emotions, caused by the outside world’s conflicts, the economic difference, and the people they’re surrounded by. The story has an easy to follow plot, and allows you to understand the reason behind the actions of every character. The movie's scenery pairs up with the soundtrack, complementing the scenes. Lastly I find the movie really organic and beautiful in the area of storytelling, the language used does not feel forced or unnatural, visceral and emotional acting, scenery, melodic soundtrack and symbolic cinematography-wise. It teleports you to the movie, directly catching your attention from the start. I do recommend it with younger (teen) audiences if they’re interested in similar genres. The plot is simple and easy to follow, and the emotions feel real. Furthermore, the music helps create both a romantic and sad atmosphere. See more MAXIMILIANO P @RT35575668 Oct 5 La historia gira entorno a Ulises (Protagonista1) y Renata (Protagonista2), dos jovenes de distintos estractos sociales que se enamoran y como cualquier melodrama de la epoca (2002), tendran muchos obstaculos que superar, en esta trama podemos ver el cruce de dos líneas socioeconomicas demasiado notoria. Analisando a los personajes, podemos ver que Ulises representa al barrio popular y marginado de la ciudad, esto es notorio ya que es un personaje moreno y su vestimenta denota su poder adquisitivo. Por otro lado Renata vive en una burbuja superficial, ignorante de la realidad y con mucha presion por partes de sus padres. Por ultimo el demas elenco y entorno, representan tal cual el poder de los prejuicios y expectativas sociales. La fotografía usa contrastes claros o nitidos cuando vemos a los personajes de clase alta, y colores mas calidos bajos con personajes de clase baja. Y por último dejamos lo mas importante que hace que esta pelicula tenga muy buena critica y reconocimiento, y es gracias a su banda sonora que con temas de Natalia Lafourcade te teletransportaba y/o te hacia sentir un vinculo con los personajes, te envuelve y te ayuda a entender las situaciones que viven los personajes. En mi opinion es una gran opción para analizar la epoca y pensamiento de la misma. Y mas si tienes que hacer un trabajo para la escuela ..... JAJAJA broma profe. See more Stephanie G @RT37773058 06/21/2024 I like this movie ‘cause is a good Mexican movie. The vocabulary used is very realistic, as Mexico. The soundtrack is amazing! There are many singers that those time like Ximena Sariñana, Natalia Lafourcade, Kinky and Zoe; my favourite song is Soñe by Zoe. The intro is very exciting and the letter is very sweet. The cast and the scene are extraordinary, the only problem is that this movie isn’t in high definition.
