So much lost potential this show would've been so great! See more 11/05/2012 This original pilot is brisk, funny, well animated and shaded, and loads of fun. If you like Hellboy or Mike Mignola, or David Hyde Pierce or Paul Giamatti, for that matter, it is worth checking out. It holds up well on repeat viewings. See more 10/24/2012 The story behind the Homestead Act told in amazing illustrations. Robots, vampires, zombies and Abe Lincoln in 1861 with great voices. The frame rate is low. It's an enormous tragedy that this wasn't made into a series. See more 09/02/2012 It doesn't get anymore surreal than to hear President Lincoln say, "Screw-On Head, calling Screw-On Head." It's deliriously weird, off beatly funny and has some of the best animation ever. Of course it doesn't hurt that I'm already a fan of Paul Giamatti and especially David Hyde-Pierce.
