Alan Ng Film Threat American is a patriotic movie that calls out the tragic mistake we foisted upon our own citizens out of fear and racism. This patriotism is not without its blemishes. Rated: 7/10 Oct 1, 2018 Full Review Prairie Miller WBAI Radio American raises far more provocative issues than can be addressed. But perhaps that's the point - to stimulate curiosity, speculation and intense conversation - as to what exactly is the definition of American, in these troubling and turbulent times. Audience Member So yesterday, we made our way down to the Los Angeles Asia Pacific Film Fest to screen this film that was written, directed, and produced by our friend Richie Adams, from Baton Rouge. I wasn't ready for what I experienced! From the opening scene until the credits I cried profusely. This short film speaks directly to our country's past, present, and future and to say that I was moved by its message(s) is a HUGE understatement. Any person who is interested in the development of young people needs to see this film. Any person who is interested in understanding the FULL history of our country needs to see this movie. Any person who is interested in understanding public policy and the negative implications of "building walls" needs to see this movie! Richie, you did the damn thing bro! Well done! Can't wait for the next one! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
