Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times Ultimately, the most intriguing thing about the production is Billy Joel's consulting producer credit. Sep 20, 2018 Full Review Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Despite a fine cast featuring numerous screen veterans, this is a cliché-ridden effort that quickly runs out of gas. Sep 19, 2018 Full Review Charlie Nicholson Film Inquiry Though never disjointed, locations, escapades and people whip by as if fully aware of the film's 97 minute runtime; a confusing approach, given what is inevitably being driven toward is an uplifting message about taking each day as it comes Sep 26, 2018 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film With its strangely flat ending and lack of anything else remotely unexpected, American Dresser tries to take us on an emotional journey but doesn't really go anywhere. Rated: 2/5 Sep 21, 2018 Full Review Hunter Lanier Film Threat American Dresser bludgeons your chest open and clumsily strums your heartstrings with a camel's hoof. Audience Member This film does a really good job of sharing the feeling of the road when you are on a bike! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review ron t I ride an American Dresser, and am 63. So this movie appealed to me. It was a very lazy plot that leaves you wondering what the details of the family drama were. Cliche portrait of bikers and police as racists. Worth watching for the scenery. I never dreamed I would say this, but Wild Hogs actually has a better plot. And that bar is about Gremlin Bell height. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved it. Simple, but didnt need to be more. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved the film mostly because I'm a rider and motorcycle enthusiast. In saying that, it's been a long time seeing Tom Berenger and good to see he's still acting. Was a run of the mill enjoyable film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member You would have to be a long distance rider to understand! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Never seen such bad cinematography. Seems they ran out of money here and there and had to return the cameras and used cheap video. Hand held work shooting the motorcycles was horrendous. Director had no control over the actors, from way over the top to faceless expressions. Very disjointed.
