Ganador del Festival In-Edit de Barcelona, Ameircan Interior es un documentla protagoniza por Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), quien decide emprender un viaje investigación hacia el interior de Estados Unidos con la idea de reconstruir la historia que hace 200 años escribió su familiar John Evans. Muy interesante, en especial por el humor de Rhys. Recomendable.

A whimsical exploration of myth and language as director Gruff Rhys retraces the steps of his ancestor to map the American interior. Accompanied by a puppet of John Carter on his failed quest to find Welsh Indians, the film is punctuated by songs and quirky graphics mapping the quest. Rhys has done a fantastic job of turning a story of preserving culture, the discussion of which is both supremely important and usually quite dry, into a fantastical, fun musical journey.
