The movie was a very good experience. The reality of the experience was amazing to see how realistic it was. It brings in a compelling way how an immigration detention upends a family’s lives affecting not only the illegal persons but the American citizens. This movie was spectacular and made realize the importance of promoting fairness in the enforcement of immigration laws and in the creation of fair laws due to the human factor.

What an emotional and instructive ride! If you want to understand both the simplicity (as naturally nomadic beings) and the complexity (as humans who live in lawful systems) of immigration, this is a must-watch. No matter where or why you stand, and what your role in society is, this tells beautiful and inspiring stories of diverse families and heroes all over the world.

I really enjoyed the film as it depicts a perfect example of what a true immigrant family looks like. It also demostrates how broken and inhumane our immigration system can be. Unfortunately we don't see many of these type of fims out and I would love to see more. It empowers me to get more involved with these issues within my community.

The depiction of the legal intricacies and the daunting immigration system sheds light on the complexities and inherent prejudices faced by immigrants. Moreover, the compelling narrative of the Diaz family fosters a deep emotional connection. 'America's Family' offered an authentic insight into the immigrant experience in America. I hope it compels others, like it did me, to continue fighting for the rights of immigrants in America.
