World War I is dragging on and the rich citizens of Europe have nowhere to go to alleviate their suffering. Magnus (Fabrice Luchini) and Dr. Boyer (André Dussollier) renovate a mansion deep in the mountains and open their doors as a high-class rest and relaxation center. While the clients have their secrets, Magnus and Dr. Boyer have theirs as well -- they also treat maimed and wounded soldiers. After several mysterious deaths, they realize that no one seems to be getting any better.
