Sebastian Valencia Cine Premiere Three interesting scenes and a captivating David Strathairn contrast with a confusing and badly told story. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 11, 2019 Full Review Marcelo Stiletano La Nación (Argentina) The biblical teachings remain in view while other kinds of questions have no answer. [Full Review in Spanish] Dec 8, 2018 Full Review Jim Schembri 3AW Burning through a thick layer of cynicism, (Brenton) Thwaites infuses the film's premise with an earthiness and desperation as he tries keeping his life from spinning out of control. Not a bad film, this, though it is, after all, a sermon at heart. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 5, 2018 Full Review Erin Free FILMINK (Australia) ...certainly preachy and often ham-fisted, but there might be a little something in there for those who prefer going to the movies over Bible study. Colby I When I was born again, I wanted to watch good and fun shows, that were including God into the fun. This movie illustrated a perfect mix of that with the drama and well production that I was hoping for in a film. I am a film maker actually, I certainly have an eye for films and what they produce in general. This films marks one of my top picks regarding a Christian Drama Film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/06/23 Full Review Dionisius D It didn't really leave an impression on my heart, but I can't lie that this movie became one of my medicines when I was down. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review Carlos T Minha opinião: Assisti este filme pela 2ª vez. E aqui no filme isto acontece. Nota: 6 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/06/23 Full Review Bart H A thought provoking movie about a young man in crisis who gets to interview someone claiming to be God. The movie asks, and answers, many questions that we have all considered. The answers are remarkably Biblical, and really do stretch us to a place where we all are at one time or another in our lives. This is a well done movie with believable characters and thoughtful writing. I recommend! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/23 Full Review william d I found the actual interview scenes to be very interesting, no doubt helped by the fact that David Strathairn and Brenton Thwaites are far and away the best actors in the ensemble. Unfortunately, I found the surrounding drama to be overwrought. If you're interested in the issues discussed during the interview sequences you should find that they adequately compensate for the weaker dramatic elements. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Like many movies, the idea was better than the execution . The best god talk movie is the sunset limited 2.7 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/21 Full Review Read all reviews
