03/15/2014 Wonderfully intriguing film. I loved it. The film is especially great for debates or critic clubs. You feel like you ve just experienced something in a different dimension after watching this film. Gomis does an excellent job of portraying a mans psychological state in a period of time where he is trying to identify himself; trying to create a stand against the world. I would deffinetly recommend it. It causes you to look at films in a different way. If you want a challenge go for it! See more 11/06/2008 The synopsis looked interesting in premise. And the first 2/3 executed in a realistic, down-to-earth way about an identity crisis off a social outcast. But like many French Cinema, the last 1/3 abruptly turned out to be so surreal & fantastic, even carrying certain religious implication which makes the whole flick looked so weird.
