SkyRo P Angels Fallen follows the archangel Gabriel, who finds himself on Earth battling the forces of darkness as he attempts to make his way back to Heaven. On paper, this premise has potential — a celestial war, a fallen angel, good versus evil — all the right ingredients for a gripping spiritual sci-fi. Unfortunately, the execution is where this film completely falls apart. As much as I want to appreciate movies that deal with spiritual themes, especially ones trying to offer deeper meaning or celestial conflict, I have to be honest: Angels Fallen is a mess. The CGI is painfully bad — distracting to the point that it pulls you out of every scene. The story barely holds together, with plot points that feel random or underdeveloped, and characters that never really feel grounded in the world they’re supposed to be part of. The action sequences are half-baked at best. And don’t even get me started on the final battle — a rushed, laughably brief scene that wraps everything up in seconds. After sitting through the entire film, to have the climax amount to Gabriel jumping over a fire, stabbing the enemy, and calling it a day? That’s not a payoff — that’s an insult to the audience’s time. There’s a sequel to this film, and honestly, I’m dreading the idea of watching it. If the first one is any indication, I can only expect more of the same: wasted potential, weak storytelling, and poorly executed visuals. Skip it. Not even for curiosity’s sake. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/05/25 Full Review Bismarck D This movie should be used to torture people. I do not know what to do to cure this feeling left in my head. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/25 Full Review Mark T I would rather cut my dingaling off that watch this again Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/05/24 Full Review Audience Member Probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen. I actually feel sorry for myself for having watched it. Also totally sad Cuba Gooding took a part in this. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/24 Full Review John D Confusing plot mashing together the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse subplot with an angels-siding-with-demons main storyline. The pace of the film lagged at times due to the directing, editing, and acting (except for Eric Roberts in a cameo at the beginning; would the rest of the cast have put out as much energy). Overall, if you want a good angels-battling-on-earth among mankind movie, go watch the excellent Legion. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/18/24 Full Review David H What a terrible low budget movie, Main cast is no name actors and actress with cameos of some talented famous actors.
