In terms of thematic plausibility then, Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain is initially on solid ground. It stumbles after a while though, because the screenplay runs out of imagination and is unable to take the story forward with conviction, depth or gravitas.

We only get to watch romances starring good looking youngsters but the film makes you realise that love isn't limited to any age. The other message it delivers is that love shouldn't die post marriage.

This conceptually novel, well-shot, well-casted, small town movie has great potential but completely loses the way right from the start. Huge gaps in the storyline, bad editing, inability to work on the emotions, and cliched set-ups destroy what should have been a good film.
