What to Know

Critics Consensus

Thom Yorke's eerie compositions blend perfectly with Paul Thomas Anderon's ethereal direction to form a bewitching meditation on alienation and what it means to connect.

LL S Thom Yorke at his vaguely unsettling best. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review psyche999 E It was overall a great concept, but I do not think it was necessarily a me movie. The choreography was outstanding, it almost feeling like watching an elaborate theatrical musical, and the whole idea of an album transcribed into film was just purely majestical. I simply did not really understand it as a whole, unfortunately. I don't think it's the fault of the director or of the artist behind the album. If I had a deep understanding of what it truly represented, then the score would've been much higher. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member The cover and concept of this short film is pretty cool, but I guess this isn't my type of film. The music sounds good - although the film itself doesn't touch me emotionally at all. I understand the message of this film is truthful about our modern day society, but the choreography ruins it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a movie that i will re-watch for sure but i will just because of the visuals. There is no story but that's understandable because this is kind of a long music video. At a first viewing i was curious what is happening but 2nd viewing was boring and the only two things i was thinking then were the metaphors and visuals. I recommend it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Dawn Chorus will make you cry your eyes out.
