Auch bekannt als Animal World: Mr. Nobody ist ein Action-Adventure-Film, der von Han Yan geschrieben und inszeniert wurde. Der Film hat mich voll überrascht, eine außergewöhnliche Geschichte. Ein Junger Mann, der in Geldsorgen steckt nimmt an einen riskanten Glückspiel teil… . Stein-Schere-Papier als riskantes Pokerspiel verpackt, ein „Casino Royale"… . Die Schauspieler passten perfekt zu ihren Rollen und lieferten ein glaubwürdiges Schauspiel ab.

i thought this was fantastic. a lot of the reviews talk ill of all the CGI sequences, but they were honestly my favorite parts; entertaining af. it gets a little dull in the middle where the story is starting to develop, but i still enjoyed it. & the fact that Michael Douglass is the bad guy?! hilarious. 10/10 would recommend.

It is good in the sense that it is original in the concept and some aspects of how it chooses to develop the plot, however... some important aspects of the plot do not go anywhere and almost seem like an excuse for a theme, considering they kinda break with the mood of the film at times, making it seem outrageous and exaggerated.

Basically a cheap ripoff of "Liar Game". It's not new and it's not unique. Unnecessary fantasy CGI bulk, needless matrix-style panning, weird clown fetish, and a flimsy plot with no purpose other than to be extravagant. The Protagonist also has 8th-grade syndrome. Moreover it took about 20 minutes to actually get on the darn boat for the main synopsis.
