Carmus S Had potential, but it sure as hell confused the heck out of me!! :P Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/01/11 Full Review Audience Member Karine is excellent as usual.. but the story is a little too flat... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I have no idea what this movie is about...it's slow and boring! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Strange story of a woman who has spit into two different person. Don't really know what happened at the end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Ever see one of those films that had so much potential, but just flushes it down the toilet? Well, this film falls into that category. I love Karina Lam and she gives two great performances. The movie sets up perfectly, but then you wait for something to happen and it never does. It could have been deeply philosophical, entertaining or just plain scary, but it chose instead to be bland and boring. Be sure to miss this one. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member My feeling about this movie is complicated. It's about choice and counterfactual thinking. I have made the choice ... but what if ... I wish I were you ... or do I? Had I left, would I miss all the good times? Had I stayed, would I wish that I could leave? We can't escape, because we are who we are. It's not destiny, It is what we really want. Maybe, we should face it, cope with it, live with it, learn to love it. (The above lines are not from the movie. They were just my random thoughts while watching this movie.) I like the slow pace that give me time to think. Karena Lam is ... how to say ... charming. No, not really Karena, but the characters she plays. Another actor that also frequently gives me a similar feeling is Anthony Wong Chau Sang. (So it's obviously not about physical attractiveness. :) However, I don't like the ending ... maybe it's my problem. Moreover, I don't like the "explanation" they found from the website. For me, it is perfectly OK to treat the "Anna & Anna" situation as a metaphor. I don't really need an explanation. The "explanation" actually somewhat ruined my enjoyment of the movie. Despite these and some other faults, I enjoy watching this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
