kevin c Sequel sees the survivor of the first film on her own still surviving and pregnant. After having her baby stolen she spends years searching for him amongst the chaos. I liked this more than the original. Original was a twist on a zombie picture, brought on by an Internet website and was basically the usual survive the horde flick. This one explores the more of the story which was more engaging. Not a bad watch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member To begin with, whoever made this movie might have never seen another horror movie; maybe just new to movies in general, or learned nothing from anything. The cinematography, music score, and dialogue are just Bad. There is a guy that talks like the bad guy in this, and you Know he is the bad guy. It makes no sense. When you talk, walk, and creep around slowly, and you are acting Like the bad guy, then Noone should be following this guy! The writing is atrocious also, and people don't talk like "normal" people. You'd think that there would be a realistic progression, but this bad guy is doing things that are Totally Insane, and no-one says anything about it. It is just bad story telling. I like the idea a lot, but the overacting and the insane torture chamber that they created makes it clear that this guy watched a Saw marathon while he was writing this "horror" movie. It is totally pointless to the previous movie, and really is just a bad experimental film about psionic torture and the links between kids and parents. There were Many things they Could have done in the sequel, but this is the Wrong direction. It is also clear why it was done this way: Cheap. It took place in a garbage rent-a-warehouse somewhere in nowhere, and all could have been filmed in a month. It just does not work, does not connect or say anything significant, and is precisely meaningless. I did like the little girl actress, but she didn't get any good screen-time and ended up not mattering at all. What a waste of talent.
