See more Blu B May 15 Proof that the diluted lighting in a bottle the first one had was just that. Everything here is a step down from the first but again to it's credit nothing is broken either. The music isn't bad but the title track isn't as catchy and in general it's just more forgettable in the first. Everything else is alright enough. The laughs here are very few and most of the time the humor is just flat. The chimp is in this one even less than the previous suprisingly. The slapstick and punching is a lot less here until the final fight that is like The Quiet Man ending but not as good. In general we jump around aimlessly in the first 30 minutes trying to setup a very weak plot and it borderline feels like it's just going to be a repeat of the first one. It does eventually find a way to put some semblance of a story together in the second half but it's nothing special. The energy, fun, and more consistent laughs the first had is all but gone here. It just feels like were going through the motions trying to find something. It makes enough sense I guess but I really struggle to see why someone who even loved the first would like this better. The road movie aspect is gone and we get a boxing plot that reminds me of a comedic take of something like The Set-Up (1949). Skip This. Just very forgettable in general.
