Edmund Lee South China Morning Post Despite its origin as a shoujo manga (for teenage girls), this abridged version is incongruously at its weakest when it deals with matters of the heart. Rated: 2/5 Apr 2, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Ok so if you want the full experience, listen carefully please watch the anime! The anime is really short only like 12 episodes but it fits perfectly with the movie, I say this because in the anime it focused more on their relationship as friends. So much we don't even get a kiss! If you watch the animes 90% chance you are going to be heartbroken at how it ended. So in the movie, it shows more of the sad baby kou is. So I would say it lacks the plot but I recommend it as a movie to give you more insight on the manga! If you watch the movie without the manga or anime then it will, of course, be an enjoyable experience but I say watch it for the full experience :) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I read the manga three times and saw the show twice. I loved this movie in comparison. The camera work was gorgeous and all the actors perfectly fit their roles. I'm very satisfied, it's the perfect "fit" for the series as a whole. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Well, it was all right. Of course manga and anime was better. S~~o much more in detail. Also two other relationships were omitted. Although it's not as good as anime/manga I enjoyed two lead actors. ^^ Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
