What to Know

Critics Consensus

Apartment 7A is slickly assembled and solidly acted, but the lingering memory of Rosemary's Baby and a predictable prequel template make for a sub(par)lease.

Drew F Well acted and directed. The story line is okay. The back end of the movie gets a little weird and I’m not sure in a good way. Probably wouldn’t recommend but could be a decent one time watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/23/25 Full Review Zero T Acting is wonderful kept me tense, the story is a prequel but beautifully done and even sad. Definetely old School horror HIGHLY recommend it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/13/25 Full Review Calvin T That caught me off guard..... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/18/25 Full Review Bryan D Could have been a classic. Showing Rosemary in the laundry room (with Terry) before Rosemary moved in, was a big mistake. Breaks prequel 101 in my opinion. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/22/25 Full Review Jennifer J Skip this and watch Rosemary’s Baby. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/30/25 Full Review Ian S Decent performances but an overly familiar story line which becomes predictable pretty quickly. Watchable but nothing new or thought provoking.
