As outlandish as a hunter’s island is, Apex has the right level of seriousness that keeps it from becoming camp and crazy enough to keep it from becoming too serious for its own good.

Apex tells the story of rich psychopaths who pay big bucks to hunt human prey on an uncharted Pacific island. Bruce Willis is the prey. Unfortunately, although Willis is supposedly a bad-ass in this movie, he does little more than walk around the island wearing bright red, smoking cigars, and tripping balls. The psychopaths pretty much kill themselves through stupidity, arrogance, and competition. Bruce gets some action in near the end, but what a disappointing movie.

This movie is awful. Bad writing, directing, acting...you name it and it's bad. Bruce Willis, at the end of a great action career, makes this dreck. Paycheck movie. In the genre of hunt humans for sport movies, this is by far the worst one.
