A sweet, immersive glimpse at two of our futures, and it’s clear-eyed about which aspects of those worlds we want to avoid, and which ones we have to pursue. Go to Full Review

There’s a timely message in this animated beauty about a time-traveling 10-year-old boy who dreams of the dinosaur era but lands in 2075 instead. Go to Full Review

"What if rainbows were people from the future traveling in time?" I want to live in a world willing to entertain the wondrous implications of such a colorful sentiment. With its emanant sense of imaginative potential, Arco encourages you to believe. Go to Full Review

Despite its beautiful animation, I find it to be a weak animated film that travels through commonplaces without offering anything complex, often about metaphors on environmentalism, hope and loss of innocence. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

While the movie's tone is mostly hopeful and reflective, Arco doesn't shy away from suspenseful and downright emotional moments. Go to Full Review

Despite feeling like parts of it dragged, Arco was a visually stunning, impressively immersive story. The worlds of the film are deeply thought out, making you question everything you see. Go to Full Review

Dimitry d @Demeter35 Dec 15 So, I saw this movie, and I'm not sure why this got such good reviews. First, it is a cartoon, a french cartoon, and it's made in Japanese 80's style anime. I've seen better coming from France, like Wakfu or Totally Spies Second, I hate seeing "anime styled" - movies or series in a different language other then japanese, so the french was appalling to hear. Third, it is Japanese 80's style, already mention it, but come on, we live in 2025, faces shouldn't be that hard anymore, it's colorfull, but it is not studio ghibli quality either. If it are the 80's I would be impressed, but not in 2025. Lastly, it is an oké story, the backgrounds are beautiful en de lore and setting, is pretty interesting. Well I saw the Netflix logo, so perhaps when it is there, the Japanese language will fix some of it. Would not recommend to pay extra to go see it in theater, wait for the netflix release. See more al p @DisneyNerd28 Nov 28 #Arco is the best animated film of the year and the best film of the year PERIOD. A charming, down to earth story about two kids (Arco and Iris) brought together when the former travels back in time from the year 2932 to the year 2075 by accident to a world on the brink of collapse til their friendship and mission to get Arco home, with the help of Iris’s robot guardian Mickey and her baby brother Pete, brings out the ounce of hope to their world before it falls, thru the symbolism of rainbows and the power of love and friendship. An hand-drawn animated masterpiece worth seeing in theaters and the film that I think should win Best Animated Feature at the Oscars in March, not the film that’s name rhymes with "Play Bop, See It Brothers." And yes, I got confirmation, from the film’s director Ugh Bienvenu, that NEON is gonna give it a wide release in January as it’s wrapped it’s 1-week limited release, which started on the day of my 29th birthday, November 14th. And I hope its wide release is bigger than what #Anora had and that we’ll get to see #Arco in Dolby Cinema. Final score for this movie: a full-on 10/10 or 5 out of 5 stars for this fully 2D-hand-drawn animated masterpiece. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ See more javier c Nov 26 I hate anime, Zootopia 2 deserves the Oscars!
