Luke WAY WORSE than the first one, not even connected at all.. even though Tony Todd was in this film it still was really boring. This movie was on Aquaslash level. Rated 0.5/5 Stars •  Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I never saw Are You scared 1. I doubt it would have helped. First warning - have Aspirin on hand. These guys couldn't afford a tripod. So there's some kind of geo caching game going on and four millennials are going for the final find but really it's some kind of a torture palace where viewers pay to watch the shenanigans. Nothing makes sense. Tony Todd is here. He's always watchable - except in this film. He clearly was on set for a day. He's intercut through the film sitting in a dark room controlling the game and mumbling. He's got two henchmen who do his torturing for him. Warning 2 - at one point the "good" guys manage to get one of the guys down but then they run away so that he can come back later and kill a few of them. I know this always sends most discernible viewers around the bend. Warning 3: Only at the very end does it occur to anyone to arm themselves. The actors play the script instead of their surroundings. And it doesn't matter which 5 seconds either, randomly seek to any point and you're guaranteed to land in a nadir of incompetence. Except perhaps the Tony Todd bits, because at least he knows how to say his lines - what the hell is he doing in such a gradeschool production anyway?? With so many awful elements, it's hard to pick the worst but I'll go with the music score that works like a vacuum - absolutely no atmosphere! Gotta be the limpest horror movie soundtrack in at least 30 years. On the bright side, any attempt to make an <i>Are You Scared 3</i> is sure to be an improvement.
