It was actually heartfelt and interesting; a hybrid comedy/ drama that was different and new. Are You Here certainly has its haters - but I'm not one of them. There were no "good" or "bad" guys; all the characters were much more complex. Zach Gallifinakis even shaves his beard halfway through. A tepid thumbs up (for me anyway).

I don't know why this movie has such a bad rating on here. It is brilliant. Maybe because its brilliance is subtle. It is deep and real and these things are presented in such simple, honest ways. God damn. This movie was such a pleasant surprise, I love it so much
