David Ehrlich indieWire The person who's playing Grande on screen has never seemed further out of reach. Rated: C Dec 28, 2020 Full Review Chris Azzopardi New York Times Only 2020 could make a straightforward, paint-by-numbers concert doc like this one, which is clearly intended for superfans, seem this nourishing (even for non-Arianators like myself). Dec 28, 2020 Full Review Jillian Chilingerian Offscreen With Jillian For someone so vulnerable and open this feels like a step back. Aug 30, 2023 Full Review Hannah Mylrea NME (New Musical Express) It may not be the most revelatory musical film we've ever seen, but it doesn't need to be. Instead, it's 90 minutes of euphoric pure pop. Rated: 4/5 Jun 17, 2021 Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media Grande has a versatile and seemingly effortless vocal talent, but her concerts are so meticulously choreographed and staged that they feel almost as much about the mise-en-scène as the music. Rated: 2/5 Dec 28, 2020 Full Review Rachel Thompson Mashable The film has a lot of high gloss, and maybe not enough grit (even with the dog poop convo) for some fans. But there's always next time, and something tells me this won't be a one-off. Dec 28, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member FANTASTIC!!!! What an incredible sceen adaptation! Ariana Grande delivers a performance that will always be considered iconic. The film as a whole is beautiful, magical, and so is everything about the entire film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/23/24 Full Review Marjun M Just the best! Her vocals were on fire! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/19/24 Full Review Excel A Ariana Grande: Excuse me, I love you There are two ways to view this, as a concert film and as a documentary. As a documentary, it fails, as the backstage and behind-the-scenes moments aren't enough and offer nothing new to viewers. There are cute moments but not profound or 'grande' to make it a success. As a concert film, it succeeds phenomenally. Ariana's vocals are at their peak. The editing is keen, the camera angles are delightful. Miss Grande can put out a performance, don her six-inch heels, and skip around the stage whilst delivering stellar vocals. Fans of the pop star will definitely love this movie, especially those that weren't opportune to attend any of the shows live. 7.5/10.
