Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com Arizona might have worked better as a smart-ass social commentary if its tsk-tsking of consumerist myopia wasn't so consistently on the nose and its plot didn't swiftly devolve into slasher movie cliches. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 24, 2018 Full Review Tom Long Detroit News This 85-minute, "Ten Little Indian"-style comedy-horror mash-up is basically a cameo-studded muddle that may have looked good on paper, but movie screens aren't made of paper. Rated: D+ Aug 24, 2018 Full Review Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter Severely wasting the talents of Rosemary DeWitt, who really, really deserves better material, Arizona is as arid and barren as the state that provides its title. Aug 24, 2018 Full Review Steven Prokopy Third Coast Review The closer you look at Arizona, the less funny and escapist it becomes, and I'm certain that's by design. The exercise doesn't always work, but when it does, it can sting. Jun 23, 2020 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed Arizona is a dark comedy thriller that works on both sides of the coin, with the dark comedy working well and the thriller part being decent. Rated: 4/5 Apr 11, 2020 Full Review Peter Sobczynski eFilmCritic.com Often grotesque and thoroughly witless. Feb 21, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Rachel O Great action movie. The psychological unraveling of the villain is done very well for a movie. He doesn't start off completely horrible, he gets there mentally over time. My only complaint is the ending. So many people try to save the day and get killed, and then the way they finally stop his rampage is sub par considering all the chaos surrounding them. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/22/25 Full Review Shelby E A thrilling take on the 2008 housing market crash, and better than most films released in the last 15 years (2025 review). This movie follows a man with nothing to lose while slowly revealing his underlying psychopathic edge. The tension builds steadily as the story exposes the darker side of ambition and desperation. Strong performances from the cast and a rock-solid production team which definitely elevated the film. Well worth the watch. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/12/25 Full Review Audience Member A good movie. It IS a dark comedy. Not like a laugh out loud one but very amusing and just an interesting tale. It's worth a watch for sure but isn't going to win any Oscars anytime soon, lol. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/30/24 Full Review Lucas S The kind of thing that if see in a toilet you will flush it Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review John K i rarely turn a movie off- i did this one.
