With the 50th anniversary of man's first steps on the moon just days away, movies dealing with the event have been thick on the land for awhile. But even if you think you've seen enough, "Armstrong" is worth your time.

Armstrong's shortcomings are exacerbated by unflattering comparisons. Rather than looking skyward, Armstrong awkwardly looks at its feet, the film eclipsed by other efforts both fictional and factual.

Covers the same ground as "First Man" but also delves more into Armstrong's early life and later life. As a documentary, it lacks some of the drama of "First Man." However, there is maybe more historical accuracy here, including some home movies and newsreel footage. A very watchable documentary for anyone interested in Armstrong.

Had little knowledge about the personal side of Neil Armstrong. This movie really gave the viewer a front row seat about one the most famous (if not THE most) man in the U.S. space program. So much I didn't know about this tremendously talented, smart and humble man. Will see it again tomorrow with some friends.. Can't wait.....

Perfect tribute. The home videos made it touching and intimate. The soundtrack was well-crafted as well. Footage of Karen was so sweet. Loved the film.
